Founded in 2001, ArtistShare is widely recognized as the first platform to connect artists and audiences directly around the creation of new work. From the beginning, ArtistShare was built around a simple idea: audiences should be able to experience the making of meaningful creative work, not just the finished release.

ArtistShare projects are carefully selected for artistic quality, creative integrity, and lasting cultural value. Our artists include legendary performers, Grammy®, Oscar®, and Emmy® winners, Pulitzer finalists, NEA Jazz Masters, Guggenheim Fellows, and leading independent creators working at the highest level of their craft.

Each project invites participants into the ideas, rehearsals, sessions, conversations, and decisions that shape the work itself.

As creators ourselves, we strongly advocate for intellectual property rights. The artists we work with retain ownership and control of their work, while project proceeds, after administration and distribution fees, go directly to them or to the organization they choose.
